Terms of delivery

WWW.PORHOKAUPPA.FI – Terms and Conditions

 These Terms and Conditions explain the terms of delivery for www.porhokauppa.fi/Pörhön Autoliike Oy (Business ID: 2046933-2). In the Terms and Conditions, you can find answers to most of your questions about shipping, cost of delivery, returns and payment methods when shopping online.

2. General

All our prices include VAT (24%). The prices are in EUR (€), unless otherwise stated. To view the prices excluding VAT, choose VAT 0% from the drop-down menu. However, 0% VAT items can only be ordered for non-EU countries. Only orders below €1,000 can be delivered outside Finland. When you choose a non-EU country as the country of delivery, the prices are always quoted excluding VAT. For EU countries, 24% VAT is added automatically.

We reserve the right to cancel the purchase or change the price, if the ordered item or its price does not correspond to the valid market price due to a technical error in the online shop, or human error, etc. Online shop prices may differ from store prices. Contracts between www.porhokauppa.fi and its customers are governed by the Finnish law. Any disputes will be referred to the Finnish courts.

We reserve the right to change prices and the Terms and Conditions. When ordering, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

3. Delivery times

The delivery term of an order depends on the delivery times of individual products and the chosen methods of payment and shipping. We will usually process your order on the next business day after the order was made, and the delivery time to Finland is between 1 and 3 days. If your chosen shipping method is pickup from any of the locations of Pörhön Autoliike, you can collect your order as soon as you have received a notification. Please note the opening hours of the spare parts department in the location!

Product-specific delivery times are indicated in the respective product cards. Payment and delivery terms are listed on this page under Shipping and Methods of Payment. The delivery times are approximate and do not bind the seller. Pörhön Autoliike Oy or www.porhokauppa.fiare not liable for damages and/or additional costs incurred to the customer in case the shipping is delayed.

4. Delivery methods

To ship the orders, we use the delivery methods listed below. Next to each delivery method, you can see the delivery time and delivery cost. The availability of delivery methods is limited according to the product weight and size as well as transport restrictions (in case of batteries, liquids, chemicals etc.). The delivery methods available for each order are shown next to your shopping cart, and the cost of delivery is calculated automatically.

If one or more of the items belonging to an order are not in stock, your order will become pending until all the products are available. If necessary, we can deliver separately the products that are immediately in stock and deliver the rest of the order later (as a second shipment). In this case, the cost of the second shipment is charged fully to the customer. If you want to know more about second shipments, please contact our customer service and quote the number of your order in your message.

POST

4.1 LETTERS

Small orders are shipped as letters. All orders shipped as letters are sent as 1st class letters and will, in most cases, be delivered to the recipient on the next working day after sending.

Orders up to 200 g and 250 × 400 × 30 mm may be sent as letters. Any larger orders are always sent as parcels. We reserve the right to send an order as a parcel if it is too heavy or too large to be sent as a letter.

4.2 COLLECTION FROM THE POST OFFICE

Your order can be collected from your nearest post office, usually on the next working day after sending. You can follow your parcel with the tracking code you get from us and use the code to collect the parcel. Please provide a mobile phone number when placing your order as Posti no longer sends paper notifications of parcels available for collection.

4.3 COLLECTION FROM SmartPOST PARCEL POINT

Items can also be ordered to SmartPOST parcel points. When you enter a postcode, the online shop application suggests the nearest parcel points. Please fill in your mobile phone number when placing your order.

The maximum size and weight of a SmartPOST parcel is 60 × 36 × 60 cm and 35 kg.

If the order exceeds these dimensions, the order will be delivered to the nearest post office.

Shipping costs depend on the total weight and dimensions of the items in the shopping cart. To view the shipping costs of the entire order, choose one of the methods of delivery for the shopping cart. The shipping costs will be shown before placing the order.

Matkahuolto

4.4 Collection from a Matkahuolto pick-up point

You can collect your shipment from any of Matkahuolto’s pick-up points. The maximum volume and weight of a parcel is 0.5 m³ and 55 kg.Matkahuolto will keep parcels free of charge for the day on which the notification is sent and the next four working days (checked on 19 January 2015).

4.5 Lähellä parcels can be collected from Matkahuolto’s pick-up points, Siwas and Valintatalos that are open every day of the week from morning until late evening.The maximum dimensions of a Lähellä parcel are 30 kg, 1.5 m3 or 80 × 80 × 80 cm.Items that are subject to Transport of Dangerous Goods rules cannot be shipped as Lähellä parcels.

4.6 Delivery parcels by Matkahuolto will be delivered to your doorstep.

4.7 COLLECTION

Collection is always free of charge. You can pick up your order from any location of Pörhön Autoliike. Please note the opening hours of the spare parts department in the location! You can collect your parcel as soon as you have received a separate notification to your e-mail address. As orders to be picked up are packaged for collection, this is the simplest and least costly delivery method for those living near our locations. Orders to be picked up are paid through the method selected at the online shop.

4.8 Shipping to European countries

 Choose this if you would like to have your order shipped to another European country: Åland, Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Isle of Man, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Svalbard and Jan Mayen Islands, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Vatican.

 

5. Methods of payment

Online shop orders can be paid with the following methods. After each method, you see the extra charge (if any) for this method of payment.

Some methods may require registration on the site http://www.porhokauppa.fi or on a third-party customer database. Terms of Use of external service providers can be found on their websites.

Checkout Finland Oy

Checkout Finland forwards your payment to www.porhokauppa.fi. You can use the online banking access codes of any Finnish bank as well as the most widely accepted credit cards.

Checkout is easy to use: send your online order and then choose your preferred method of payment. Checkout Finland brings you a wide range of payment methods and reliable and easy payment transfers.

Returns

All orders have a 14-day exchange and return period that begins when the items are received. During this period, you have the right to examine items in the same way as in our shop. Packaged products must be in their original packages, unused and resalable. If these conditions are met, customers can have their money refunded or exchange their item(s). Money will be returned via the same method of payment that was selected when the items were purchased. The money will be returned once the item(s) have been received by the seller and their condition has been checked. In cases where the product is found to have been used, the customer is responsible for the reduction in value.If an item is damaged during shipment, we will ship a new one to the customer free of charge. We are not responsible for the damage caused to the customer by items damaged during shipment.Items that have been prepared or modified (e.g. painted) at a customer’s request do not have a unilateral cancellation right. If an order is cancelled, the customer is liable for costs of the order, if any.

6. HOW TO RETURN ITEMS

Before returning items, please make sure that

– all items are unused and undamaged and in their original packaging.

If you are returning items through Matkahuolto or Posti, please proceed as follows:

– Contact our customer service to discuss the return method.

– Wrap the item carefully to avoid damage during transportation.

– If possible, use the same packaging in which you received your item.

– Send the item as an ordinary letter or parcel (we will not redeem cash-on-delivery shipments).

– Please let us know the reason for return. This is optional, but as it helps us to improve our service, we would appreciate it if the reason for return is indicated.

The customer is liable for the shipping costs of returned items (freight, postage, etc.).

7. Sales area

Items can be ordered online to all the listed countries. If you wish to order items to countries not included in the list, please contact us by using the feedback form. When ordering items outside Finland, the shipping costs depend on the country and will be charged as actual shipping costs. Shipping costs are indicated in the shopping cart before payment when choosing the method of delivery.

8. Extra work and billed work

In some cases, an order may involve extra work if it requires additional paperwork (customs and tax declarations, forms to be filled in) or if there are special requests (such as a gift pack). If the extra work is due to the customer, we will charge all costs directly to the customer. Our charge for extra work is €50.00/hour (minimum charge: 0.5 hours). Whenever possible, any charges for extra work will always be confirmed with the customer before the work begins.

9. Installation of items

Prices do not include installation, activation (with test equipment), painting or any other similar work, unless this has been specially mentioned on the product card. Almost all electronic items, such as alarms, radios, parking radars and electrical kits for trailer hitches, require activation with special test equipment. The customer is responsible for all the costs involved.

Always compare the new part with the old one before you start uninstalling the old part and replacing it with the new one. If the new part looks different from the old one, please contact our customer service. Installation of a part is the same as using it.

If you wish, you may indicate the Finnish registration number or the VIN code (Vehicle Identification Number) of your car in your order. With the registration number or the VIN, we can check the suitability of a spare part with the car before sending out the spare part.

The installation of some items requires special professional skills. Installation or operating instructions are not usually included with spare parts.

10. Warranty

The warranty conditions of spare parts can be found on the product card by clicking ‘Takuuehdot’ (Warranty conditions). Please indicate the registration number of your car in your order in case a spare part warranty is available.

11. Clearance sale items

We clear items from our inventories occasionally by selling them at a discounted price at www.porhokauppa.fi. As the number of clearance sale items is limited, they are only available through www.porhokauppa.fi. Clearance sale items cannot be reserved. The items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.The clearance sale price in the online shop is only valid for items ordered and paid at www.porhokauppa.fi. Prices of items available in the store may differ from online shop prices. If a clearance sale item has to be ordered separately to the shop from a supplier or importer, the price is the catalogue price, not the clearance sale price.Once our inventories run out of an item, the clearance sale price is no longer valid.
